Asante Kotoko skipper Jordan Opoku says his side will take some stopping in the MTN FA cup after beating Aduana stars and setting up a final against Medeama.

Two quick goals from Christopher Boney and a third from Michael Akuffo ensured the holders cruised to a 3-1 victory over Aduana Stars.

Medeama also scored two good goals thanks to Donsu Kwesi to reach the final with Hearts of Oak’s Robin Gnagne’s penalty failing to have an impact on the game.

Medeama’s win meant this year’s final will be a repeat of two years ago when Medeama won by a single goal but Jordan Opoku who skippers the side says they will take some stopping.

“Well we know that Medeama will be a very difficult game but we are also aware of our strength,” Opoku said

“We will respect them on the day but after that I am sure we will go out there to express ourselves and try to win something for our fans.”
