AS Real de Bamako maintain aggregate lead as Vitesse FC held at half-time

AS Real de Bamako and Vitesse FC were level at 0-0 at the break in the second leg of their first-round qualifying tie in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The hosts and visitors both created spells of attacking pressure at Stade Modibo Keita, but neither side found the precision needed in the final third to break the deadlock.

The half-time score currently favours AS Real de Bamako, who won the first leg 2-1. That result gives them a 2-1 advantage on aggregate and leaves them in control of the tie as they seek to reach the next qualifying round.

Vitesse FC must now take greater risks after the interval if they are to overturn their deficit. The second half will decide which of the two teams progresses, with the tie still open.
