Asked about the impressive enhancement displayed by 21-year old English midfielder Joe Willock, playing for Newcastle, on a loan spell, since early February, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, as reported by Daily Mirror, stated: "We are definitely making plans for him to be back with us, and I'm really happy that things have gone so well for him, because of the potential that Joe has.

I think it was great for him to go away and have a different experience. He has grabbed that opportunity in a really remarkable and positive way. He will be back with us, we will have those conversations with him and plan the next years for him".

Arteta has therefore opened up on his plans for Joe Willock as the midfielder's impressive spell at Newcastle comes to an end.

Willock has fired seven Premier League goals since joining Steve Bruce's side on loan in January - including one in each of his last six games. Magpies boss is in fact adamant for the club to make their best effort in order to make the 1999-born playmaker, turning 22 on August 20, to be signed on a permanent move and stay put.
