Arsenal and Liverpool are leading the race to sign Brentford winger Kevin Schade after the Germany international made an impressive start to the season.
According to TEAMtalk, the two Premier League clubs are the strongest candidates to move for the 24-year-old, who is of Nigerian heritage. Schade’s performances have attracted renewed interest from leading English clubs, several of whom monitored his situation during the previous transfer window.
Schade has scored three goals in eight Premier League appearances this season. His pace, direct running and ability to operate on either wing have increased his appeal to potential suitors.
Brentford, however, are under no pressure to sell and would demand more than £60m (€71m) before considering a January departure, according to the report.
The London club have also opened discussions with Schade over a new contract. His current deal runs until June 2028, while an improved salary would give Brentford greater security over his future.
Transfermarkt currently estimates Schade’s market value at €50m.
Despite the growing interest, a move during the winter transfer window remains uncertain. Brentford regard Schade as an important member of their attacking group and would prefer to retain him.
A transfer in the summer of 2027 could therefore be a more realistic possibility if contract negotiations fail to produce an agreement and either Arsenal or Liverpool decide to make a formal approach.
