Nigerian international, Tolu Arokodare, has been named the winner of the 2025 Ebony Shoe award in Belgium, recognizing him as the best African player in the Belgian Pro League this season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 24-year-old forward had a standout season with KRC Genk, scoring 22 goals and registering seven assists.

Arokodare was honored at a ceremony in Brussels on Monday night, beating four other players to the award.
Arokodare joins a list of notable Nigerian players who have previously won the award, including Daniel Amokachi, Victor Ikpeba, Celestine Babayaro, Godwin Okpara, and Paul Onuachu.
