Arokodare resumes playing after his forgettable experience

Nigerian forward, Tolu Arokodare was a major drive for KRC Genk as the Smuff triumphed over Standard Liege 1-0 in the Belgian Pro League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Arokodare was a subject of social media bully and racism, following his penalty miss in the Blue’s defeat to Club Brugge last weekend.

The center forward although has the support of the club and the love of his teammates, he was however dropped to the bench on Sunday.

The center forward after 36 minutes of football replaced Luca Oyen before  Anouar Ait El Hadji scored the only goal of the game six minutes into the second half.

Arokodare so far in the league has contributed 8 goals and two assists to Genk’s tally in the league this season.
