Arokodare, 23, is currently the joint-leading scorer in the division, and his latest strike helped KRC Genk secure their sixth consecutive league win, defeating Dender last weekend.

"It wasn't my best goal, but that doesn't matter. A goal is a goal," Arokodare told HBVL.

"I headed the ball, which ended up in a mess. That's how the ball came back to me and I was able to score."

Arokodare emphasized the importance of his contributions to the team, rather than individual accolades.

"It was an individual goal, but the most important thing is that I helped the team. By scoring goals, or by doing other things that benefit the team."

The Nigerian striker's prolific form has propelled Genk to the top of the Belgian Pro League table.

Arokodare's impressive start will be crucial in maintaining Genk's momentum, as they aim to continue their winning streak.

With six goals already, Arokodare will look to continue his scoring spree and solidify his position as one of the league's top marksmen.
