Antonio Conte has highlighted the financial strength of Premier League clubs, saying: “In England they use bazookas, while the rest use pistols.”
The Italian coach most recently managed Napoli, whom he took charge of in the summer of 2024. Conte left the club at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Conte has also managed two Premier League clubs during his career. He was Chelsea manager from 2016 to 2018 before taking charge of Tottenham from 2021 to 2023.
