Anthony Martial is reportedly close to joining Malaga CF, with the former Manchester United forward considering a move to Spain in an attempt to revive his career.
The 30-year-old has been without a club since terminating his contract with Mexican side CF Monterrey. He is now weighing a switch to Malaga CF, who are currently 18th in the La Liga table.
According to Foot Mercato, Martial has rejected a lucrative proposal from Libyan club Al-Ittihad Tripoli. The club recently signed Moroccan winger Sofiane Boufal.
Al-Ittihad Tripoli reportedly offered Martial a net salary of €10 million over two years, as well as a €5m signing bonus.
Despite the scale of that package, the Frenchman is said to have turned down the offer. Martial is instead understood to favour a move that would provide a sporting challenge as he seeks to relaunch his career in Spain.
