Ahead of Ghana's African Nations Championship playoff against Nigeria, the head coach of the side, Didi Dramani has admitted the team is under pressure, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports

Dramani speaks after the team's last training session, which was in preparation for the Sunday clash with the Super Eagles B team.

He states that while the national side is under pressure following the transitional phase experienced by the side, he believes they'll leverage the pressure to get results.

The national team of Ghana has struggled in recent times, failing to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations.

The Black Galaxies coach says this challenging time puts the team under pressure which is normal, but it is expected of them to do what they ought to do.

"Life itself is all about pressure and how we manage these pressures. You cannot control the human feeling, that is what is in everyone's heart. Ghana is a football nation, everybody eats and drinks football. Sometimes, you get into a transitional phase and Ghana is in the transitional phase in football. That also encourages us to do something rightly and to rewrite some pages in the progression of our football. So I think it is normal for people to feel pressured, but I also think it is normal to think that you can only do what you are supposed to do."

Nigeria and Ghana will play at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 22, at 5 p.m. Nigerian time.
