He said it was not true that Nigerian coaches were not qualified and knowledgeable

“Be open to learning, that’s my advice to the coaches; am still learning; we must be able to challenge ourselves.

“We are aware that there is no platform for coaches here; the average belief is that coaches are not good.

“I think we have coaches that are qualified, knowledgeable; we have coaches that want to learn, we have coaches that want to improve our football.

“We have to encourage ourselves, that’s my advice to the coaches; we must be able to share information, coaching is not just about you coach and that is the end.

“I learn, I have done a lot of courses, I have done master in sports, I have master in techniques and tactics and I still want to learn.

“Here in Nigeria nobody will encourage you as a coach because the common believe is that the coaches are not good, the coaches collect bribe.’’
