Ampem Darkoa Ladies moved to the brink of the UFOA B Women’s Tournament final after producing a dominant first-half performance against Dynamique FC.

The Ghanaian side led 3-0 at half-time in the second semi-final, leaving Dynamique FC needing a remarkable second-half comeback to keep their hopes of reaching the final alive.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies took control of the contest with three goals in the space of 21 minutes. Milot Abena opened the scoring in the 17th minute, giving the Ghanaian team an early advantage.

Rebecca Assemani then extended the lead 11 minutes later, scoring in the 28th minute to put Ampem Darkoa Ladies firmly in command.

The pressure continued, and Gloria Adamako added a third goal in the 38th minute. Her effort completed an emphatic first-half display and gave Ampem Darkoa Ladies a three-goal cushion going into the interval.

The result reflects the Ghanaian club’s strong progress through the competition. Ampem Darkoa Ladies had recorded a perfect run in the group stage and have continued that impressive form in the knockout phase.

Their performance against Dynamique FC has placed them within touching distance of a place in the final. Edo Queens of Nigeria have already secured their position in the title decider and are waiting to discover their opponents.

Dynamique FC now face a difficult task after conceding three times before half-time. They must produce a significant turnaround in the second period if they are to overturn the deficit and prevent Ampem Darkoa Ladies from advancing.

With the Ghanaian side holding such a commanding advantage, the second half will determine whether Ampem Darkoa Ladies complete their progress to the final or whether Dynamique FC can mount an unlikely recovery. At the break, however, Ampem Darkoa Ladies were in a strong position after an authoritative attacking display.
