Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri said he tries to select four forwards whenever circumstances allow, after his side drew 3-3 with Roma in the eighth round of Serie A.
The Naples club twice took the lead but were unable to protect their advantage, conceding three goals in a match that ended level.
“I try to field four forwards whenever there is the opportunity,” Allegri said.
Asked about the number of goals Napoli had conceded, which is not usually associated with his defensive approach, Allegri responded ironically.
Napoli are 10th in Serie A with 11 points. Their next match is against Monza on 28 October.
