Alexander Golovin has decided to remain at Monaco despite reported interest from Spartak Moscow and Zenit.
The 30-year-old Russia midfielder is open to the possibility of returning to his homeland, according to Foot Mercato, but the financial terms proposed to him have not persuaded him to change clubs at this stage.
Golovin expects to continue playing for Monaco at least until the winter transfer window.
Spartak were previously reported to have offered Monaco 19 million euros for the midfielder. Zenit have also shown interest in signing him.
Golovin joined Monaco from CSKA in 2018 and remains under contract with the club until the summer of 2029.
