Ghanaian midfielder Albert Bruce returns to the Naxxar Lions starting line-up this weekend up after serving suspension to help the side avoid relegation ahead of their final Premier League meeting against Mosta.
Bruce missed the side’s 4-3 win over Sliema Wanderers due to yellow card accumulation but returns to the squad in time ahead of the must-win game.
Lions, who are currently lying in 7th place must avoid defeat against 9th place Mosta to stay clear off the drop zone.

“It’s perhaps the biggest match of our lives this season. We’re in a tricky situation at the moment,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com
“We cannot afford to slip away from home because if other results do not go our way it could be a difficult situation.
“My colleagues are aware we must step up our game. We have to at least sniff off a point in this crucial game.
“I’m confident we can do it. We just have to put our minds to it.”
Bruce has been a delight since he joined Naxxar Lions from Qormi United where he has missed only a single game due to suspension.
He has emerged as target for a number of clubs in Europe as the season winds down this weekend in Malta.
