Al Ittihad have submitted a renewed €40m offer for Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa as they attempt to complete a deal before the Saudi Pro League transfer window closes, according to L’Equipe.
The Saudi club are making a late push to sign the Algeria international, with negotiations intensifying between the two clubs just hours before the end of the Saudi market. Africafoot first revealed Al Ittihad’s interest in the 24-year-old, who has emerged as one of their main transfer targets in recent days.
Hadj Moussa also appears keen to leave Feyenoord. The winger, who has won 18 caps for Algeria, is understood to have made his position clear to the Rotterdam club’s management.
A further indication of his desire to depart came on Saturday when he refused to take part in Feyenoord’s match against NEC Nijmegen, scheduled for 16:30. His decision came as Al Ittihad continued talks with Feyenoord over a possible transfer.
Al Ahli also made an attempt to sign the winger during the summer, according to exclusive information reported by Africafoot.
Hadj Moussa joined Feyenoord in 2024 after coming through the academy at Lens. The Paris-born player remains under contract with the Dutch club until June 2030, giving Feyenoord a strong negotiating position as they consider the latest proposal.
The offer would represent a significant premium on the player’s current estimated value. Transfermarkt currently values Hadj Moussa at €23m, meaning Al Ittihad’s €40m bid is considerably higher. However, it remains uncertain whether the figure will be enough to persuade Feyenoord to sell before the Saudi transfer deadline.
Hadj Moussa earns an annual salary of €490,000, equivalent to 318,500,000 CFA francs.
Feyenoord are due to play Zwolle in the sixth round of the Dutch league shortly. Betting odds listed for the fixture place Feyenoord as favourites at 1.35, with a draw priced at 4.45 and a Zwolle victory at 5.40.
The immediate focus, however, is on whether Feyenoord will accept Al Ittihad’s late offer and allow Hadj Moussa to leave before the Saudi Pro League window shuts.
