Al Ittihad have not given up on signing Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa and are continuing discussions with the Dutch club, according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Saudi Pro League side are seeking an agreement that would allow them to bring the Algeria international to the club as one of their new attacking additions. The interest was first revealed exclusively by Africafoot, and negotiations remain ongoing despite the absence of a deal so far.
Hadj Moussa remains a Feyenoord player while the two clubs work to resolve the transfer. The 23-year-old is under contract with the Rotterdam club until June 2030, meaning Feyenoord remain in a strong position as Al Ittihad attempt to reach an agreement.
The Algerian winger’s future could nevertheless be decided away from the Netherlands in the coming days, with the final stages of the transfer window increasing the pressure on both clubs. For now, however, talks have not produced a conclusion and Hadj Moussa continues to be registered as a Feyenoord player.
Al Ittihad have also prepared an alternative option in case their pursuit of Hadj Moussa does not progress quickly. The Saudi club could step up their efforts to sign Luiz Henrique, who currently plays for Zenit Saint Petersburg. Initial contact has reportedly already been made regarding the Brazilian winger.
Luiz Henrique was also targeted by Al Ahli during the summer, according to exclusive sources cited by Africafoot. The 24-year-old therefore remains another attacking player attracting interest from Saudi Arabia as clubs look to strengthen their forward options.
Hadj Moussa’s growing reputation has ensured that he remains highly regarded in the transfer market. The winger has produced a series of notable performances in recent months, helping to maintain significant interest in his situation.
His current market value is estimated at 23m euros by Transfermarkt. That figure underlines the increased attention surrounding the Algeria international, although no transfer fee has been agreed between Feyenoord and Al Ittihad at this stage.
Hadj Moussa is reported to earn an annual salary of 490,000 euros, equivalent to 318,500,000 CFA francs.
Feyenoord’s immediate focus will be on their next league fixture, when they face Zwolle in the sixth round of the Dutch championship. Betting company 1xbet lists Feyenoord as favourites for the match, offering odds of 1.35 for a home win. A draw is priced at 4.45, while a Zwolle victory is listed at 5.40.
The match comes as Hadj Moussa’s transfer situation continues to develop, with Al Ittihad still pushing for a resolution and Luiz Henrique identified as a possible alternative if an agreement with Feyenoord cannot be reached.
