Three months after he joined Al Fayha of Saudi Arabia from Trabzonspor, Anthony Nwakaeme is already in the transfer news.
The 33-year-old Nigeria international is on the raider of Turkish side, Besiktas for a possible return to Turkey in January.
However, reports from Turkey say the transfer request made by Besiktas have been rejected by the Al Fayha.
The news of Nwakaeme attracting interest from the black-and-whites had come after the winger was reported to be unhappy in Saudi Arabia and was also planning to return to Turkey.
It had been claimed that Nwakaeme who has a contract with Al-Fayha until 2024, can wear Be?ikta? jersey in the second half of the season if the conditions arise.
Nwakaeme who played for once for Nigeria joined the Saudi giants on a free transfer after helping Trabzonspor to the Turkish title scoring 15 goals and 11 assists in 35 appearances.
He has scored three goals in his seven appearances for Al Fayha.
