Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade has pledged that Nigeria will capitalize on every opportunity in today's Paris 2024 women's football tournament, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Randy Waldrum’s side in Group C will clash against Spain, following a narrow loss to Brazil in their opening game.

Ajibade acknowledged that the team missed crucial chances against Brazil, but vowed to learn from those mistakes and seize opportunities against Spain.

"We missed quite a few chances against Brazil, and they took their chance. We will do our best to take our chances against Spain on Sunday," she said.

With Spain leading the group after a 2-1 win over Japan, Ajibade recognizes the importance of securing a win against the world champions.

The Atletico Madrid Femeni star is confident that Nigeria will not repeat the mistakes of their previous match and will come out smiling.

The Super Falcons face a must-win situation in Nantes, and Ajibade's determination will be crucial in motivating her team to secure a vital victory.
