Nigerian forward, Rasheedat Ajibade has been shortlisted for the Spanish Liga F Player of the Month award for September, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 24-year-old Atletico Madrid winger impressed with two goals and two assists in just two league appearances during the month.
Ajibade's notable performances include an assist in Atletico Madrid's 2-0 opening day win over Granad, two goals and an assist in Atletico Madrid's 4-0 victory over Valencia.
Ajibade faces stiff competition for the award, with fellow nominees including: Ewa Pajor (Barcelona), Caroline Weir (Real Madrid), María Llompart (Levante Badalona) and Nerea Nevado (Athletic Club Femenino)
