Nigeria's Super Falcons duo, Rasheedat Ajibade and Esther Okoronkwo have been nominated for the prestigious CAF Women's Player of the Year award, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The pair played pivotal roles in the team's successful campaign at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
Okoronkwo was instrumental, registering two goals and six assists, while Ajibade, the team's captain, scored one goal and provided two assists.

The Super Falcons' impressive performance in Morocco earned them their 10th continental title.
Ajibade and Okoronkwo are among 10 nominees vying for the top prize, competing with other top African players, including reigning winner Barbara Banda of Zambia.
The winner will be announced at the 2025 CAF Awards Gala in Marrakech, Morocco.
