Following his amazing performance in the opening day of the English Championship, manager West Bromich Albion Steve Bruce has heaped praises on Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi.
West Brom played out a 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough on Saturday and Ajayi was outstanding in the encounter.
While reacting to his performance, Bruce said Ajayi was a good defender, especially in the second half of the game.
“Ajayi I have to say, he’s improved enormously since I’ve walked through the door.
“I’ve enjoyed watching him, he’s a hell of a good defender. When he’s like he was on Saturday he’s big, strong, powerful, quick, he gave a mountain of performance, especially in the second half.”
Ajayi is expected to be in action on Monday when West Brom faces Watford FC at the Hawthorns.
