Ahmed Musa Rewards Plateau For Their Victory Against Rangers

  Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa has rewarded Plateau United with the sum of 300,000 for a home win over Rangers at the weekend.

Plateau won 2-0 in a Week 22 game of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in Jos on Sunday.

A player of the club told AfricanFootball.com that the CSKA Moscow hitman cheer the team to victory before he gave them cash.

"Senior man (Ahmed Musa) was at the stadium on Sunday to cheer us to victory against Rangers and we all believe he brought us luck to win 2-0 because it has been long we win 2-0,” said the player.

"He encouraged us and gave us three hundred thousand Naira for the victory. We are happy with his kind gesture."

Musa was born in Jos, where he started with GBS Academy(Formerly Aminchi Academy) before he joined JUTH FC, Jos(now defunct) and later Kano Pillars before he moved to Europe through Dutch club VVV Venlo.
