Ahmed Musa in line for Russian double

Nigeria international forward Ahmed Musa is in line to claim a double in Russia after CSKA Moscow qualified for the Russian Cup final on Wednesday.

The attacker played for 90 minutes before he was substituted in stoppage time with Kirill Panchenko taking his place in the 3-1 romp over FC Kransnodar at Arena Khimki.

Alexandr Golovin scored a brace while Alan Dzagoev completed the scoring as the ‘Army Men’ romped to a comprehensive semifinal win.

CSKA will now compete in the Russian Cup final against bitter rivals Zenit St Petersburg, who put Amkar Perm to the sword.

The win for Zenit represents bad news for the two Nigerians on the books of Amkar Perm', Fegor Ogude and Bright Dike.

Ogude played all 90 minutes for Amkar while Dike was an unused substitute at Stadion Zvezda as Zenit progressed to the final 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after regulation time.
