Ghana international midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu had a bad evening as he was red carded while in action for Udinese against Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A on Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old Black Stars player was seeking to repeat his performance against Inter's city-rivals - AC Milan, when he scored against them during the weekend but things turned bad for him as he was sent off in the 58th minute.
Badu was adjudged to have gotten involved in an unsportsmanlike conduct while in action and referee Gianluca Rocchi marched him off, ending his dreams of getting a double over the Milan team with Udinese succumbing to a 2-1 loss.
Argentine forward Icardi had netted first for Inter but veteran attacking Antonio Di Natali levelled for the host before Lukas Podolski claimed the match winner for Roberto Mancini's men.
This becomes the first time the former Berekum Arsenal midfielder has taken a straight card in his professional career and will miss two of Udinese's upcoming Serie A games.
While Badu started the game for Udinese young defender Isaac Donkor sat on the Inter Milan bench.
