African Games'23: Falconets book semifinal spot

Nigeria Falconets pummeled Teranga Lionesses of Senegal 4-0 to pick a semifinal ticket at ongoing 2024 African Games in Ghana, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

Loveth Edeh opened the scoring for the Falconets in the 13th minute before Motunrayo Ezekiel doubled the advantage five minutes after the break.

An own goal from Senegal made it three moments later before Chioma Oliseh wrapped up a comprehensive win for Danjuma’s ladies.

The win ensures Nigeria’s place in the semi-final of the competition.

Chris Danjuma’s ladies opened their campaign with a 2-0 win over Morocco and backed up their win against the Atlas Lionesses with another win over another Lioness.
