Africa U-20 Cup of Nations: Bosso opens door to foreign players from next week

Nigeria U-20, Flying Eagles ahead of the African Nations cup will open the door to foreign players within the far bracket from next week.

The team as well is also expected to start camping next week after flying eagles coach, Ladan Bosso invited 35 players for second phase of screening and training.

Nigeria media outlet, Daily spot, reported that Bosso has also pencilled down foreign-based quartet, Ibrahim Mohammed, Ahmed Abdulahi, Lekan Oyedele and Samson Lawal for the competition.

The local players are expected to arrive Abuja on Monday.

Nigeria will submit a final 21-man squad for the U-20 AFCON on January 20.

The Flying Eagles are drawn in Group A with hosts Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal.

The competition will run from February 19 to March 11.
