AFCON Morocco 2025: Joseph Yobo, Aliou Cisse, others confirmed as draw assistants

African football governing body has confirmed the quartet of former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, Ivorian Serge Aurier, Aliou Cisse who won the AFCON in 2022 with Senegal, and Mustapha Hadji as draw assistants for the TotalEnergies AFCON) Morocco 2025 final draw, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The highly anticipated event will take place today at the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat.

The 24 participating nations in the 2025/26 Africa Cup of Nations are: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Comoros, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

These former African football stars will not only have the honor of selecting the groups for the tournament but will also lend their expertise through insightful commentary and analysis.
