AFCON 2023: Peseiro goes to war for the first time with full squad

The Media Office of the Super Eagles, Babafemi Raji has revealed that team is ready to take on the Indomitable Lions Cameroon in the Round of 16 today at on going 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Nigeria finishing second in Group A will confront their West African rivals who also finished second in group C.

While the three time champions have some injury concerns in the group stage, Babafemi in his interview with NAN disclosed that all players are fit and available for selection.

“No injury concerns, the players are pumped up and all members of the squad are available for selection and in good spirit.

“Tactically, the coaches have been working all day and night to ensure they get the right strategy for the match tomorrow.

“What Nigerians should expect is an outright win. We don’t want to go the extra mile by getting to extra time,” Raji said.

The old football rivalry goes down today (Saturday) by 6p at the Felix Houphouet Boigny, Stadium.
