Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi will not be available for Nigeria’s first game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations against Equitorial Guinea, Nigeriasoccernet.com report.
Moffi’s club, OGC Nice wants the 24 year-old play the league game on Saturday against Stade Rennes, same date the African competition is kickoff.
While the three time African champions play the next day (Sunday), Moffi will also be joining the team the same day.
This makes it practically impossible to see the forward make the matchday squad.
Moffi was a late replacement for Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface, who has been ruled out of the competition with injury.
