AFCON 2017 qualifiers: CAF appoints Bissau-Guinean Fidel Gomes to officiate Ghana-Mauritius qualifier in Accra

CAF has appointed referees from Guinea-Bissau to handle Ghana’s opening 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius in Accra next Sunday.

Fidel Gomes, 45, has been appointed as the centre referee.

He will be supported by compatriots Firmino Bassafim and Camilcar Manuel Biague.

The Black Stars will be playing Les Dodos at the Accra Sports Stadium on 14 June
