The Black Stars set up a classy AFCON 2015 final with Ivory Coast after hammering hosts Equatorial Guinea 3-0 in a disgraceful encounter at the Nuevo Estadio de Malabo.

Jordan Ayew had tucked in penalty won by Kwesi Appiah on the 42nd minute mark with great precision to put the Black Stars in front.

Mubarak Wakaso then cushioned the lead with an incisive finish from close range after a Christian Atsu assist from inside of the box.

Andre Ayew grabbed his third goal of the tournament with a slick finish from a Kwesi Appiah assist.

RAZAK BRIAMAH (GOALKEEPER) 6

Briamah was basically on holiday during the entire. You could credit him for good organisation and performance.

HARRISON AFFUL (LEFT-BACK) 8

Afful took the game by storm. Outshone his markers and always got a better of them. Worked tirelessly during the entire duration of the game.

BABA RAHMAN  (RIGHT-BACK) 8.5

Top of the match performer. The Augsburg man was all-running on the evening. He had the bravery to go forward to cause problems for the hosts defence. Sustained a lot of tackles but continued to push on. Great talent. Can't believe he's playing so well at just 20.

JONATHAN MENSAH (CENTRAL DEFENCE) 8

Powerful and strong in central defence. His partnership with Boye completely marked out Balboa and his colleagues from the game. Withstood every challenge.

JOHN BOYE (CENTRAL DEFENCE) 8

Formed a solid telepathy with Jonathan Mensah in central defence. He occasionally joined the attack in search of goal and could have scored his third goal of the competition in the 67th minute.

MUBARAK WAKASO (CENTRAL MIDFIELD) 8

Purely artistic and visionary. The Celtic man's cutting passes and timely interventions in midfield proved the defence for Ghana.

AFRIYIE ACQUAH (MIDFIELD) 8

Bullish and powerful! The Parma man was in great shape in central midfield. The Equatorial Guinea midfielders were no match for his big physical presence.

ANDRE AYEW (RIGHT-WING) 8

The Olympique Marseille man grabbed his third goal of the competition dive-slotting a Kwesi Appiah low cross inside the box. Greatly inspirational as he steered the team. Won his first game as Ghana captain.

CHRISTIAN ATSU (LEFT-WING) 7.5

Enjoyed a great game on the flanks. Switched between the right and left. His defense-splitting passes went a long way to pin down the hosts defence.

JORDAN AYEW (FORWARD) 7.5

Great courage! He put all his off-form issues behind and expertly dispatched the 42nd minute penalty won by Kwesi Appiah. He continued to play well in closed spaces. Technically crafty.

KWESI APPIAH (FORWARD) 8

Another fantastic performance from the Crystal Palace forward. He won the penalty that was converted by Jordan Ayew in the 42nd minute. Always dropped deep into the midfield to fight for the balls when the supplies were delaying.

GSN your rating is good but why did you said john Boye nearly scored his third goal. Hmm the dollar man only scored one goal so please stop adding goals to his name. Where is ugly fish, foolish Noni9ja and those zambian rascals. see you soon chimps.

to be frank, Akwesi Appiah plays intelligently and he has a good link up play like benezima. he is really impressing me and that is what strikers do. Good work Akwesi Appiah

man of thee match getting 7.5. thats the ghanaian for you. its just like it took avram grant to use players like afriyie acquah, christian atsu and wakasu as starters when maxwell konadu has confined them to the bench
