With the first round of group stages matches completed at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, here are the most salient numbers summing up the tournament in Equatorial Guinea so far.

0 – There were zero goalless draws in the first round of group stage fixtures.

1 – No player has scored more than one goal thus far in the 2015 tournament.

2 – Given Singuluma of Zambia scored the fastest goal of the tournament thus far, netting in the second minute of the 1-1 draw with DRC.

3 – The number of teams which claimed victories in their opening matches: Gabon (2-0 v Burkina Faso), Senegal (2-1 v Ghana) and Algeria (3-1 v South Africa).

5 – The number of draws from the eight matches in the first round of group stage fixtures. All five draws ended with a 1-1 score line.

19 – The number of goals scored in the first round of group stage fixtures, at an average of 2.38 per match.

21 – The number of yellow cards issued in the first round of group stage fixtures, at an average of 2.63 per match. Only one red card has been issued, with Gervinho sent off for Ivory Coast in their 1-1 draw with Guinea.

90+3 – Moussa Sow of Senegal scored the latest goal of the tournament thus far, netting in the third minute of injury time in their 2-1 win over Ghana.

1990 – The year in which Algeria last won their opening match at an AFCON. They went on to win the tournament.
