Former Nigeria International and member of NFF Technical Committee, Mutiu Adepoju has said the fans of the senior men’s national team, Super Eagles, have high expectations of the team as they prepare for the double friendly against Mali and Luxembourg.
The Eagles are lined up to face the Afcon 2017 bound Les Aigles in France on May 27 and Luxembourg in June, as part of the rebuilding process of the team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Mutiu, who Nigeria made three World Cup appearances with Nigeria, stressed the need for Salisu Yusuf and his crew to knock the team into shape for the matches and focus on nothing but wins; as it is what the fans want.
