Adeniyi James Vows To Lift FK Gabala

FK Qabala striker Adeniyi James has vowed to hit the ground running when Azerbaijan second half gets underway in February.

Speaking from his side half season training camp in Antalya, Turkey, the former Skënderbeu Korçë striker said he is by recent injury setbacks that saw him sat out the team’s ongoing preparation in Antalya ahead Azerbaijan season two hostilities.

“It’s been great so far but I will keep working hard as we look forward to second half of the season.

In a report monitored on the club website www.gabalafc.az, Adeniyi was excluded from the team’s ball and off ball drilling on Monday in a bid to get the hitman ready for task ahead.

” Adeniyi took on individual tasks being under recovery after injuring in the trial match against Garadagh Lokbatan in Baku, last Saturday. He’s expected to get back to the team in the next two days,” said gabalafc.az.

Coach Gurbanov’s red-black team will keep up the drills till January 27.

The team will play four trial matches over the preparation period with Germany’s third league team Meppen first on the card on January 16. FK Gabala will also meet Russia sides Yenisey and Fakel, respectively on January 20 and 24.

They last testing game has been fixed to January 26 against MTK (Hungary).
