Aaron Samuel On Target For Amkar Perm Following Loan Move From CSKA Moscow

Published on: 11 February 2018

Aaron Samuel is off the mark for his loan side Amkar Perm after scoring in his first game for the club in their 3-0 win over FK Budu?nost Podgorica of Montenegro.

Aaron only completed a loan move to the team from fellow Russian side CSKA Moscow yesterday, and he wasted no time in getting off the mark for his new team.

Coming on a substitute, the Nigerian who is pushing to make the squad of the Super Eagles to the World Cup put his team two goals up with his first meaningful shot at goal.

He will be hoping to sustain the momentum in their subsequent friendly game and up till the resumption of the league in Russia.

Since moving to Russia from Chinese side Guangzhou R&F, he has struggled to justify the trust imposed in him by CSKA Moscow which lead to his signing despite injury bringing his initial loan spell to an end.
