Ex-Ghana international Mohammed Gargo hails retired Stephen Appiah

Former Ghana midfield power house Mohammed Gargo, has hailed retiring Stephen Appiah as a perfect example of good leadership.

Appiah, announced his retirement from football on Tuesday the 14th of January 2015, bringing an end to an illustrious career that has travelled over a decade.

Mohammed Gargo former club mate of Appiah at Udinese and national team mates says Appiah leadership qualities are second to none.

“Appiah is a great guy who played the game with an unmatched determination and inspiration,” Gargo told Ghanasoccernet.com

“His achievement will forever be remembered in this nation.”

“A true leader who led from the front at all times, for me he is a perfect example of good leadership.”
