Super Falcons forward Gift Monday has signed a contract extension with Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa for three more seasons, Nigeriasoccernet.com can confirm.
The official signing took place between the player and the president of UD Tenerife, Sergio Batista, ensuring that Monday will remain part of the team until 2027.
To strengthen its sporting project, the club is committed to retaining its existing talent to pursue its goals. The renewal of the Nigerian forward signifies a clear intention in that direction.
Batista emphasized the importance of maintaining the current squad, stating: “This group of players has brought us success and satisfaction, and it’s only natural that we continue investing in them by renewing contracts well in advance. We aim to build a solid future, extending deals for key players like Gift Monday until 2027".
“I thank God for this opportunity. My dream is to help the team, contribute with positivity to achieve victories, to win more games", Monday stated as she vowed her commitment to helping the group grow.
About what she has experienced so far with Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa, the Nigerian said she feels “the support of the entire club always, the love of all her teammates, and the environment in general.” Finally, she wanted to promise the fans “to give my best to give them the results they want.”
