2025 Africa Cup of Nations Draw Set for Rabat

The final draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Rabat, Morocco, on 27 January, determining the group-stage opponents for the 24 competing teams, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The teams will be divided into six groups of four, with the top two teams in each group and the four best third-placed sides advancing to the Round of 16.

The draw will be a key moment in the build-up to the tournament, which will run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

Defending champions Côte d'Ivoire will be seeking to retain their title in the biennial competition, which will feature the best teams from across the continent.

Participating countries will also have the opportunity to inspect match venues, training facilities, and hotel infrastructure in Morocco ahead of the tournament.
