2024/25 NWFL: Confluence Queens resume training ahead of league kickoff

Players and Officials of Confluence Queens Football Club of Lokoja have resumed training ahead of the forthcoming 2024-25 season of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

With the management team, comprising the workaholic Chairman Honourable Abdulmalik Isah Dolly, the team Manager Mrs Tosin Olorunleke Ojo, the team Consultant Mr David Ayo Awolabi and other Staff on ground encouraging the team during the training session ahead of the new season.

Technical adviser Sabo Okala led the technical crew in taking the players through the intense training session.

The Confluence Queens chairman Honourable Abdulmalik Isah who Spoke to the team after their workout at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, stated that:

"The management and technical crew are making efforts together in order to achieve the task ahead. We would continue to work very hard to make the forthcoming season better and to be able to win titles, as we are optimistic".

Speaking further, Honourable Isah urged the players to double their efforts and work hard to ensure they have a smooth ride in the forthcoming 2024-25 season.

Addressing the players also, the team manager of the club Tosin Olorunleke equally charged the players to head up and stay focused ahead of the new season, stressing further that the management and the Coaching crew are working hard to ensure they parade a solid squad, good enough to compete for honours come this season.

Confluence Queens is one of the six teams who participated in the last edition of the NWFL super six and will be looking forward to surpass their previous outings in the Nigeria Women Football League.
