The experienced coach has resigned from his position as head coach of Promise Keepers. The team is currently struggling in 19th place in the league, having accumulated only 16 points from their first 16 matches of the season.
It's been a terrible start for Akwa United as they battle to keep their topflight status going into the break.
The club is yet to officially confirm the resignation of the head coach after the loss today but trusted sources have revealed that he left after the dismal result today.
