After several days of trying to secure entry visa for the Nigeria U-17 football team to train in Germany and prepare further for the 2023 African U-17 Cup of Nations, the Nigeria Football Federation looked to have resigned to fate, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Golden Eaglets have been camping in Abuja for the competition and were recently visited by some of the Super Eagles stars like Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa who promised the team half a million for every goal scored.
Nduka Ugbade’s boys will now train for 10 days in a North African country before travelling to Algeria for the competition.
Nigeria will face Zambia, Morocco and South Africa in Group B.
The biennial competition will run from April 29 to May 19.
