2023/24 NWFL - Meet Echefu Slyvia who has four clean sheets from four matches

Confluence Queens goalkeeper Sylvia Echefu is delighted as she made fantastic saves to deny her former side Heartland Queens FC of victory against Confluence Queens on Wednesday in Owerri

The Imo State born goalkeeper made numerous  saves as she won the hearts of many fans at the Dan Anyam Stadium.

It was a memorable home return for the 15 years goalkeeper who was outstanding for the Lokoja based NWPL side.

Echefu however thanked her teammates for the clean sheets so far and promised to continue doing her best to help the team achieved their targets for the current NWPL season as gathered by Nigeriasoccernet.com.

In her words " I'm very greatful to my teammates for their supports and efforts to ensure we are not distracted. We have worked really hard as a team and that is the reason I have been able to have four clean sheets from four matches".

"I want to thank my parents and friends who stood by me in Owerri and most especially my mum for her prayers.  I will also like to say a big thank you to my coaches and the team manager who hasn't altered his believe in me".

Confluence Queens remain the only NWPL team this season that is yet to concede any goal. The team will play host to Abia Angels FC of Aba on Wednesday at the Edo State University Stadium Uzaiure Iyamho in the last home match of the year 2023.
