ALBERT Adomah could return from the international wilderness this afternoon as Ghana face Togo in Accra.
The Boro winger has barely featured under Black Stars boss Avram Grant, but has been rewarded for his recent form with an international reprieve.
Grant was impressed by Adomah's work ethic and defensive discipline during Boro's league run-in - and could hand the 27-year-old a starting role in this afternoon's friendly.
Adomah will be looking to impress against Togo, as he battles for a starting berth in Sunday's opening African Cup of Nations qualifier with Mauritius.
Later this week, Boro boss Aitor Karanka will be hoping Ben Gibson comes through England Under-21s' final warm-up game before the European Championships unscathed. Gareth Southgate's Young Lions face Belarus at Barnsley's Oakwell on Thursday evening, before jetting out to the Czech Republic for the tournament.
Equatorial Guinea captain Emilio Nsue and Gambia winger Mustapha Carayol are also away on international duty this week.
