Zlatan Ibrahimovic Reveals the Only One of His Former Coaches He's Not Friends With

"?Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he holds Pep Guardiola in different regard to all the other coaches he's worked with during an illustrious career to date, but not in a good way. Instead, the Swede maintains that Guardiola is the only one he's not still friends with.

"I'm friends with all the coaches I've had, except for Guardiola, with whom I did not get on well with in Barcelona," Ibrahimovic is quoted as saying by El Mundo Deportivo following an interview with GQ.

The pair, who worked together for just a single year at Camp Nou after Barça agreed a €66m deal with Inter which included Samuel Eto'o in the summer of 2009, could soon be back in close proximity on opposites sides of the Manchester divide.

Guardiola is due to begin work as Manchester City boss at the start of next month, while Ibrahimovic is widely expected to link up with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United after Euro 2016.

The striker's strained relationship with Guardiola is well covered in his 2011 autobiography and is summed up perfectly in one brilliant short paragraph:

"It'd be better if you put me on the bench. You're sacrificing me in favour of other players. This isn't working. It's as if you've bought a Ferrari, but you're driving it like a Fiat."

His feelings toward Mourinho, however, couldn't be more different.

"I hadn't met him yet. But he'd already surprised me. He formed an attachment to me before we even met. He would become a guy I was basically willing to die for," were the words as Ibrahimovic recalled the moment he found out Mourinho would be taking over at Inter in 2008.
