Video: Iheanacho working round the clock to be fit for AFCON

Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho is doing everything possible to be fit and available for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Leicester city forward has been nursing a muscular injury for over two weeks now, missing the Foxes’ last three game.

While his teammates and Compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi got dropped from the team for Alhassan Yusuf, Iheanacho is tirelessly working with the medics for quick recovery.

The Super Eagles are camping in Abu Dhabi, United Ara Emirates until Wednesday, January 10 when they leave for Côte d’Ivoire, the host nation.

The three time champions will be looking to win the forth with their first game is against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, January 14 before facing, Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea Bissau all in Group A
