Some hours after the news of interim Coach Yemi Olanrewaju's resignation broke out, Vandrezzer FC has confirmed the situation.
In a club statement, the club management stated that it received his resignation, but "without just cause"
"Vandrezzer FC can confirm that it has received the notice of Coach Yemi Olanrewaju's unilateral termination of his contract as assistant coach of the club, without just cause."

The statement went further to reveal that the club will be guided by FIFA regulations in taking any action on the matter.
"While we are concerned about this development, we will be guided by the terms of his Employment Contract as well as the clear provisions of FIFA Regulations and Status."
Meanwhile, the club appreciated the former MFM FC manager for his time at the club.
"As a club, we immensely thank him for his services to the club and assure our supporters and partners of a solid front for the next season."
