The search for a new Technical Adviser for former champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, Kano Pillars may just be over as reports say Usman Abdallahi is close to joining the Northern side, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

The former Enyimba FC Coach is preferred choice even with the news of former Sporting Lagos Coach, Paul Ofor and former Akwa United Coach Deji Ayeni gunning for the post.

A deal will be struck with Abdallahi other things equal as the four-time league champions seek to build for a better season than the just concluded season where they finished eleventh with 52 points.

Sidi-Usman Shariff Abd'Allah, a Nigerian-French coach, in 2019, clinched the league title with Enyimba FC and led them to the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
