According to BBC Sports, Liverpool has agreed to sell Switzerland playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri to Lyon for £9.5m.
Last season, the 29-year-old, who joined Liverpool for £13 million from Stoke City in 2018, started just five Premier League games under Jurgen Klopp.
This season, Shaqiri has not played in any of the club's league games.
During his tenure at Anfield, the former Bayern Munich and Inter Milan attacker won the Premier League and the Champions League.
Shaqiri is on his way to becoming the second Liverpool player to join a Ligue 1 club this summer, after Georginio Wijnaldum's transfer to PSG when his Reds contract ended.
