Transfer: Ndidi offered new two-year deal at Leicester City

English Premier League outfit, Leicester City have offered Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi a new two-year contract amidst several proposals from clubs in Europe Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ndidi with the Foxes in the Championship became a more creative midfielder compare thanks to former manger, Enzo Maresca.

Leicester are eager to retain Ndidi's services following their promotion back to the top flight.

His current contract is set to expire at the end of June, and Leicester City confirmed last week that they were in negotiations with the player regarding a contract extension.

The proposed new deal would keep Ndidi at the King Power Stadium for another two years, although the financial terms of the offer have not been disclosed.

The King Power occupants surely have a task on their hand as Ndidi’s current club situation has attracted interest from other Premier league clubs, Barcelona, Juventus, Galatasaray  and even Trabzonspor.

Ndidi joined Leicester City from KRC Genk in 2017 for a reported £15m and has since made 273 appearances for the club, scoring 17 goals and providing 17 assists.
